Murder in South Milwaukee: Just before 11 p.m. on Thursday, officers received a call reporting two unconscious people inside a car.
The dead victims were found by the police when they arrived. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victims as Jaelen Yracheta, 18, and Ava Allen, 17 years old.
The victims, according to family members, were cousins. One of them was a senior and the other had recently completed high school.
According to accounts, both victims went to Franklin High School. The South Milwaukee police are looking for a suspect in the murder case as they look into the double gunshot homicide.
What became of the teenagers?
The mother of Yracheta, according to the family, discovered the kids dead inside the vehicle and called 911.
While unable to speak on camera, the family expressed their indignation. They are still looking for explanations as to how and why this occurred.
Near Fifth Avenue and Bay Heights Road, two teenagers, Jaelen M. Yracheta, 18, a male, and Ava J. Allen, a female, were discovered shot.
The Wisconsin State Crime Lab and the South Milwaukee Police Department are still investigating into this.
