After learning that her husband had been fatally stabbed, a hairdresser was arrested and charged with murder. Let’s examine Teresa Hanson and the details of Paul Hanson’s murder case.

Dad-of-two Paul Hanson was murdered. Just three days after Christmas, Paul Hanson, 54, was attacked at his home in the East Yorkshire village of West Cowick.

Police were called to the Little London Lane residence on December 28 at 7:15 p.m. after learning that the 54-year-old had been stabbed.

He was delivered to the hospital right away, but tragically, he couldn’t be saved and was declared dead not long after.

Mr. Hanson was the site manager for Sword Construction UK, and his work truck could be seen parked in the scene’s driveway on Little London Lane in West Cowick village.

The homicide inquiry was launched by the police, who also apprehended Paul Hanson’s wife.

According to Humberside Police, there was no further risk to the public, although police would still be present in the area over the next few days.

Paul Hanson, a father of two, passed away, and his widow Teresa Hanson, 53, of West Cowick, has been remanded in custody.

She is scheduled to appear before Hull Magistrates Court today, according to Humberside Police.

The semi-detached, cream-rendered house was the location of forensic experts’ visit on December 29.

Then, a woman, 53, was detained while inquiries were being conducted, according to the police, following her detention on suspicion of murder.

Paul had just recently spent Christmas with his daughter Sherri and grandkids.

Nicola Burnett, a detective chief inspector, said:

“We recognize that hearing about a tragic tragedy like this may shock and worry residents of the hamlet and its environs.

“However, I want to reassure everyone that this was a singular incidence involving known parties, and as a result, there is no more risk to the general public. While we continue our investigation, officers will stay in West Cowick for the foreseeable future, and a scene guard will remain on duty.
