How did Athena Brownfield fare?
The public’s assistance is needed in the inquiry into the disappearance of Athena Brownfield, who has been missing since January 10.
Athena Brownfield has been missing since last Tuesday, says OHP Trooper Eric Foster.
To conduct a neighborhood search, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) and Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) have dispatched infrared aircraft, boats, four-wheelers, and personnel on foot.
Wednesday afternoon, Foster said at a press conference, “We’ve been in the air in helicopters with infrared, on the ground, across town there have been many grid searches on foot and on four-wheelers, things like that.”
“Our ERT, or Emergency Response Team, is specially trained to go on foot in search of persons and goods, and we’re out there working with volunteers from the community,” the ERT statement reads.
Brook Arbeitman, the bureau’s PIO, accepted this information and said,
“We are still actively using all of our resources to look for her. We are still actively seeking for her, but we are finding items that we think may point us in the right direction.
The whereabouts of Athena Brownfield are unknown.

In Caddo County, authorities are looking for a missing 4-year-old. Athena Brownfield, 4, was reportedly last seen at a house in Cyril, Oklahoma, near Nebraska Avenue and Third Street.
Athena’s five-year-old sister was discovered near their home, according to a postal worker, who reported the discovery on January 10th, 2023, at 2 p.m.
Athena was found missing after the postal worker reported the incident to the Cyril Police Department.
Police are requesting that anyone in Cyril who owns a home or business and has a video doorbell camera come to the Family Life Church and report it.
She is exceedingly shy, a family member claims. She vanished on an unknown date as of right now.

Police hunting for the missing girl: According to the article, dogs from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections assisted with the search.
“This is a really active and ongoing investigation, and finding her is currently our top priority.
And determining who is accountable will follow. We must track down this young girl, Arbeitman stated.
“She is exposed to the elements alone. Is that thus in danger? Yeah. But has she experienced any injury to her body? That has not yet been decided.
The volunteers scoured “the entire town” for the course of the full day of the ground search on Wednesday, according to Arbeitman.
Today at 4 p.m., the Emergency Response Team (ERT) of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol completed a grid search with the assistance of community volunteers.
The OSBI stated in a different statement Wednesday afternoon that those volunteers had been freed after searching the whole town, every known vacant residence, and neighboring waterways.
The statement reads, “The Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC) currently has search dogs in the area and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (OBNDD) flew their drones over the community.”
A postal worker found Athena’s 5-year-old sister alone close to their home in Cyril, which is roughly 70 miles southwest of Oklahoma City, on Tuesday afternoon around 2:00 p.m. Athena was subsequently reported missing.
The older girl was reportedly terrified but did not require medical attention. How long she was missing before her disappearance was reported is unknown.
Arbeitman said, “We’re still working on putting up a precise schedule.
Athena’s parents or legal guardians’ whereabouts at the time of her abduction are unclear, and no information is currently known regarding the home the girls were living in.
Arbeitman said, “That’s part of the ongoing investigation,” in response to a question about who was supposed to be watching the girls on Wednesday morning. A guardian has been appointed for the 5-year-old.
