Karmelo Derks, 18, was arrested on December 30, 2022, and sent to Mobile County Metro Jail, according to a late-Friday report from the Mobile Police Department.

The police are still searching for Jimaurice Pierce, 19, and Darrius Rowser, 19, and they’re asking anyone with information about their whereabouts to get in touch with MPD.

Darrius Rowser, who is he?
Darrius Rowser, 19, was reportedly found and taken into custody by MPD late on Tuesday night, according to the police. Rowser was taken into custody along with 18-year-old Karmelo Derks, who was also a suspect in the shooting at Walmart.

Rowser was reportedly sought by MPD in connection with the shooting at the Paparazzi Club and the break-in on Dukes Avenue on December 18. Rowser is charged with attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault, and two counts of reckless endangerment.

Jimaurice Pierce, a third suspect, is reportedly still wanted by the authorities. He’s a 19-year-old man.

Criminal Record
After a confrontation between two groups broke out in the self-checkout line at the Walmart Supercenter on I-65 on December 27, Darrius Rowser, 19, was taken into custody early on Wednesday in connection with the shooting.

Transport was provided for male and female victims who had non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Rowser will also be charged in relation to the shooting that occurred at the Paparazzi Club on November 26 and injured four individuals, including two males and two women.

Along with the gunshots, Rowser has also been connected to the house invasion on December 16 on Dukes Avenue. According to MPD, three unidentified male men forced open the entrance of the house while brandishing weapons. Another victim was being shot repeatedly as he attempted to exit the residence as the first victim was being abused.

First-degree burglary, attempted murder, five counts of assault, shooting into an occupied building while it was occupied, and reckless endangerment are among the accusations that Rowser will be charged with.
