Soon after 7 o’clock, a man who may have been carrying a pistol was stopped at the Five Guys restaurant. He attempted to open the door and walk inside.
Police continue to remove individuals from the area, including Target and the cinema. As of yet, no fatalities have been officially confirmed. No victims have been reported as of yet. At the moment, only criminal activity involving property exists. Business establishments must shut their doors. Employees are reportedly being confined inside their businesses for their own protection. Bullets were fired around 6:45 o’clock. Ward Parkway Center is located at 8600 Ward Parkway. South of W. 85th Street, it is located between State Line Road and Ward Parkway. In the south, the mall’s retail space reaches W. 89th Street.
As soon as there was word that there might be a shooter inside T.J.Maxx, police were called to the shopping complex. People who work there, however, assert that everything is going on normally.
On the eastern side of the shopping complex, close to the PetSmart entrance, the glass is broken. The wall has gunshot holes.
There is presently only one crime site in the area.
People are attempting to leave the mall, but there is a long wait of traffic outside. It goes without saying that the holiday season is a particularly busy time for shopping.
