In an Assamese national park, a convoy of safari jeeps can be seen speeding across a congested path while shouts of “bhaga (speed up), move, move” can be heard in the distance. Slowly, the camera pans out to reveal the rhinoceros that was charging the tourists and making them cry in panic.
Before returning to the bush, the rhinoceros is said to have chased the convoy for almost three kilometers.

The episode, which was recorded by a safari visitor using their phone camera, is currently trending on social media.

The most recent rhinoceros-chase-safari-vehicle occurrences were reported in Assam’s Kaziranga National Park, where the video was shot. The Manas National Park has also been the subject of reports of similar instances.

When a rhinoceros sprang from a bush and began chasing the safari jeep, it was traveling through the park’s Habari forest section.

The driver was then observed accelerating quickly and ejecting the rhino. However, the big beast kept pursuing the car for a while.

According to experts, this kind of incidence is caused by the animals’ discomfort with ongoing human activity in the forest.

According to the most recent census data released by the national park management, there are 2,613 rhinos living in Kaziranga National Park, and their numbers are growing.
