American rally racer Kenneth Paul Block, previously of the Monster World Rally Team and the Hoonigan Racing Division, passed away on January 2, 2023.

Block turned his business attention to Hoonigan Industries, an apparel line for auto fans, after surrendering his stake of DC Shoes. Before his passing, he was a co-owner and “Head Hoonigan In Charge” of the business.

According to the statement, “On January 2, 2023, at around 2pm, the Wasatch County 911 Center received a call reporting a snowmobile accident in the Mill Hollow area.
Kenneth Block, a 55-year-old man from Park City, Utah, was the driver when the snowmobile overturned and fell on top of him while he was riding it down a steep slope. He suffered injuries in the collision, and doctors declared him dead there.

On January 2, 2023, Block was killed while riding a snowmobile close to Woodland, Utah, at the age of 55. According to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, Block was riding in the Mill Hollow region when his snowmobile overturned on a sharp incline and fell on top of him. At the scene of the collision, Block was pronounced dead.
