To promote her new memoir and Netflix documentary, Pamela, a Love Story, Pamela Anderson is touring and giving a series of exclusive, in-depth interviews.

The Baywatch star revealed the identity of the one man she says is the only one who has ever treated her with “full and utter respect” during an interview with The Times of London where she was questioned about her life and profession.

She gave the publication the name “Hugh Hefner.”

Anderson also talked about shooting her first Playboy cover in another section of the interview, which she claimed helped her gain confidence.

“I detested the uncomfortable shyness I experienced. I did it for that reason. Regarding her decision to shoot for Playboy, she remarked, “I just didn’t want that feeling anymore. “Taking part in that first photo shoot opened up for me a tiny window into what it was like to be a sensual woman. My sexuality belonged to me. I reclaimed my power.

For the first time in her career, Anderson gives an in-depth overview of her profession in Pamela, a Love Story. The limited series Pam & Tommy, which was centered on the consequences from the publication of her sex tape with Mötley Crüe member Tommy Lee, was released by Hulu last year.

Anderson has long criticized the show, in particular its creators, whom she has said did not seek her input before creating the show. Anderson called the creators “Assholes” in an earlier this week interview with Variety.

You still need to publicly apologize to me, she said.

After hearing about the show, Anderson claimed in a later interview with Howard Stern that she felt “run over.”

“I distinctly recall thinking, ‘What?’ when I saw this Pam & Tommy advertisement. Nobody contacted me. I am still here. I was not questioned. She told Stern, “I have nothing to do with that.

“That one kind of ran me over. I don’t believe they adequately depicted Tommy or me. Although I haven’t seen it, I’ve heard that it’s a very limited portrayal of us. I would have preferred a call.
