In a recent altercation at a Manhattan subway station, Ethan Reyes, better known as Notti Osama, was fatally stabbed. On social media, the 14-year-brother, old’s DD Osama, also paid tribute to him after the tragedy on July 11.

In a battle with a 15-year-old opponent at the 137th Street/City College subway station at 3 p.m. on July 9, Notti Osama was stabbed. Then, in Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, Osama passed away.

The cause of the altercation was not disclosed, according to law enforcement authorities, but it is clear that the two teenagers were at odds with one another. The suspect, who has been charged with first-degree manslaughter and criminal possession, was previously taken into custody by police.

Initially, the 15-year-old was charged with second-degree murder. That changed, though, when the prosecution learned that Reyes had cornered the defendant and was accosting him with a broomstick. Ethan and the others with him soon outnumbered the accused, but when he attempted to run, the accused stabbed him.

The knife and the broomstick were discovered by the police at the crime scene, and they noted that the act had also been captured on camera.

While the identity of the accused is now unclear, authorities have stated that he was hospitalized for stab wounds at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Richard Davey, president of the MTA NYC Transit, said:

“We appreciate the investigators from the NYPD who worked with us to quickly arrest a suspect. The fact that he and the victim are alleged to have known one another just emphasizes how senseless this horrible tragedy was.

Osama, the youngest of six children, and his brother just two weeks ago published the music video for their new song, Without You. Osama’s cousin Lily Ortega described him as a joyful and kind boy who enjoyed spending time with his family.

After hearing the news of the rapper’s passing, tributes poured in.
One of the rapper’s buddies remarked at a candlelight memorial that he had a million-dollar smile that was held in Manhattan. The unnamed person further stated that Reyes was driven to become a rapper and worked hard every day to realize his dream.
