The shooting event involving American rappers Megan Thee Stallion and Tony Lanez has finally started a court case, exposing the involvement of Kylie Jenner and Kelsey Nicole Harris. Nancy Dillon of Rolling Stone provided updates on Twitter during the first day of the trial, presenting all sides of the story.
Lanez’s defense counsel, George Mgdesyan, asserted during the opening remarks of the trial on December 12 that Megan’s jealousy at Kylie Jenner’s pool party, which took place in the early hours of July 12, 2020, was to blame for the incident.
On the first day of the trial, the defense claimed that when the car stopped, Megan Thee Stallion and Kelsey Harris got into a fight. A local claimed to have witnessed the purported altercation and to have seen a woman clutching a gun.
He faces accusations of assault with a semiautomatic weapon and possession of a firearm in his vehicle, but he has not entered a plea. However, he might receive a 12-year prison term if found guilty. According to reports, Stallion will testify in the trial on Wednesday, December 14.
