Maegan Hall, a married Tennessee police officer, recently lost her job as a result of having an affair with six of her coworkers at the La Vergne Police Department.
Along with Hall, additional policemen were fired from their positions, including Detective Seneca Shields, Officer Juan Lugo, Sergeant Lewis Powell, Sergeant Ty McGowan, and Officer Juan Lugo.
La Vergne Mayor Jason Cole requested the city’s help in conducting an investigation after receiving information from a whistleblower on December 12.
Andrew Patton, director of human resources, will investigate the matter.
The inquiry revealed that the aforementioned officers working the second shift engaged in illicit photo and video exchanges, had private encounters inside the station while on duty, and had hidden physical relationships both on and off the clock.
Other claimed private interactions happened during a shift party after a game and at a hotel after an excursion to the Go Kart USA facility. During one such incident, officer Maegan Hall was accused of taking off her top.
