On Sunday, January 1, a shooting near 32nd and Villard left one person dead and two people injured. Milwaukee police are looking into the incident. Around 11:20 p.m., it took place. The first murder of the year has been officially reported.
According to police, a 17-year-old Milwaukee teenager was shot fatally and was declared dead at the scene.
A 16-year-old Milwaukee kid who was the second victim was transported to the hospital for treatment after suffering a non-fatal gunshot wound. The second sufferer was arrested.
A 22-year-old Milwaukee man who was the third victim was shot, but he survived and fled the scene. Near 26th and Hampton, he went up to an ambulance to ask for assistance. Additionally, he was detained after receiving medical attention at the hospital.
The District Attorney’s Office for Milwaukee County is still considering the charges. The inquiry is still ongoing.
